Conditional Formatting
Apply Conditional Formatting

Conditional formatting options allow you to apply different formatting options, such as background color, borders, or font formatting to data that meets certain conditions.
Overdue dates, for example, can be formatted to show up with a red cell background or a red font color or both cell background and font color.
Conditional formatting is applied to one or more cells and, when the data in those cells meet the condition or conditions specified, the chosen formats are applied.
Home -> Conditional Formatting
Conditional formatting allows you to apply formats to a cell or range of cells, and have that formatting change depending on the value of the cell or the value of a formula.
When the value of the cell meets the format condition, the format is applied to the cell.
In 2003 , you can have up to 3 format conditions, each with its own formats, in addition to the default value of "No formatting". This allows you to have different formats depending on the value of the cell.
